Who can enroll in BBC?

Building Better Caregivers® (BBC) is an online program to help unpaid family/friend caregivers or direct paid caregivers caring for someone with dementia, Alzheimer's, other cognitive impairments, or any other serious injury or illness. The caregiver and the person being cared for need to be a resident of California.

Marisol's Story

Do you know someone who is caring for a loved one and could use support? If they and their care partner are a residents of California, they can take advantage of free online support. 


Our records indicate that you may not be eligible for this program. However, if you are a paid direct care worker  (for example: employed as home health or home care aidecommunity health worker, personal aide, or certified nursing assistant) please visit
